The borough approves the recycling contract; facility will reopen in November | Local News

The Central Recycling Facility (CRF) on Marika Road will reopen on November 1 after closing abruptly in July.

The Borough Assembly voted Thursday to approve a contract with Green Star of Interior Alaska. Proposals for the project opened on August 12 and closed on Monday. The contract passed 6-1, with Assemblywoman Tammie Wilson voting against.
